INEQUALITIES
Definition
An inequality is a mathematical sentence that uses symbols such as <, ≤,>, or ≥ to compare two quantities.

Our aim is to have x (or whatever the variable is) on its own on the left of the inequality sign:

That inequality is “solved”.
